Join us at this one-day event to get the latest update on multiple projects in protected edible vine crops.


The event will involve presentations from recently finished and ongoing projects, with researchers speaking on the practical outcomes and applications of their work relevant to growers, and any plans for further work going forward. A complimentary lunch will also be provided on the day.


Speakers will include:


• Ewan Gage - Optimised CO2 enrichment management for long-season tomato production in a UK tomato crop

• Joe Martin - the SCEPTREplus project

• Dave Chandler and Rob Jacobson - Tomato: An investigation into poor pollination performance by the native bumblebee, Bombus terretris audax

• Roy Kennedy – Cucumber: Development and testing of a lateral flow device for both gummy stem blight and powdery mildew in bio-aerosols during cucurbit production
