Effective Mushroom Harvesting

This training video is to help new recruits in mushroom harvesting to provide them with a basic understanding of mushrooms and the method by which they are harvested.

Unit 3 can be used with experienced harvesters to revise what are good practices.
 
The aims of the video
  1. To give the trainee a basic understanding of what a mushrooms is, and how it is grown.
  2. To educate in "good harvesting" practice.
  3. To cover the employer's duty to educate their employee in basic food hygiene, health and safety and manual handling.
