Lettuce: Further development of ‘Best Practice’ for disease control in protected and outdoor crops

Summary

This project aims to carry out an evaluation of the broader efficacy of various approved and novel seed treatments, fungicides and bio-pesticides on both protected and outdoor lettuce.

 

This will be carried out in order to formulate a series of disease control programmes and strategies for the control of the most important pathogens of lettuce e.g. Bremia lactucae, Botrytis cinerea, Rhizoctonia solani and Sclerotinia sclerotiorum
