Phytophthora root rot of raspberry and other cane fruits

Root rots in raspberry and other cane fruit crops can be is caused by a number of species of the soilborne fungi Phytophthora. The most important is now recognised as being Phytophthora fragariae var. rubi (P. fragariae var. rubi).
