Turnip yellows virus (TuYV)

Turnip yellows virus (TuYV), is spread by aphids, mostly the peach–potato aphid (Myzus persicae).

The virus can dramatically reduce yields, especially when plants are infected early in the growing season. It is well established in Europe, and is especially common in areas of intensive brassica production in UK.
